I grew up in the valley so the desert was one place I couldn’t wait to escape. Since I’ve grown older, moved to a city and now live minutes from the beach; the desert, has now become a quaint destination for vacationing. I recently spent 4 days, 3 nights in a very secluded Airbnb in Twentynine Palms, California and it was the most peaceful 4 days I’ve had since moving to San Diego.

Why Twentynine Palms? Honestly, there’s no exact reason, me and my husband just wanted to be in quiet with our pooch. The desert was where I wanted to be but no specific destination was in mind, with some mild researching we came across Twentynine Palms. We booked it, packed our bags, packed our pooch and drove off into the wild.

It was very much needed and very much missed.

The sunrises and sunsets were so captivating. Almost unreal at times.

Those are my favorite parts of the day.

My favorite model to shoot.
